LG Innotek Reports 21.2 Trillion KRW in Sales Last Year... Operating Profit Decreases by 15%
LG Innotek announced on the 17th that its consolidated sales for last year amounted to 21.2008 trillion KRW, an increase of 2.9% compared to the same period the previous year. Operating profit for the same period was 706 billion KRW, down 15.0%, and net profit was 449.3 billion KRW, down 20.5%.
The company explained, "Sales grew compared to the previous year due to the expansion of high value-added product supply," adding, "However, profits decreased compared to the previous year due to delayed recovery in demand from upstream industries and intensified competition."
