Targeting landowners and stakeholders, the session explained the necessity of the cadastral resurvey project, its implementation effects and procedures, boundary setting standards, and matters requiring residents' cooperation. It also included listening to residents' opinions and collecting consent forms from landowners.
The cadastral resurvey project is a national initiative being promoted until 2030 to resolve land disputes caused by discrepancies between the actual status of land and cadastral maps, eliminate cadastral inconsistencies, efficiently manage national land, and protect citizens' property rights.
For the 2025 project, Wolsong, Sinji, and Unchon districts were selected, and the implementation plan was established on October 29 of last year. To proceed with the project, consent from more than two-thirds of the landowners in the relevant area is required, and the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation will conduct the cadastral resurvey measurements.
