Awards Ceremony to Be Held at the Opening of 'Women Entrepreneurs Week' in the First Week of July
A Total of 81 Honors Including 'Order of Industrial Service Merit' and 'Presidential Citation'
The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association announced on the 17th that applications for the '2025 Women Entrepreneurs Merit Awards' will be accepted until the 14th of next month.

View original imageThe Women Entrepreneurs Merit Awards are nationwide awards conducted for 3.26 million women entrepreneurs in Korea to discover individuals who have contributed to the development and promotion of women-owned businesses. The awards ceremony is held at the opening of 'Women Entrepreneurs Week,' which takes place during the first week of July every year.
The award categories include four divisions: 'Model Women Entrepreneurs,' 'Model Women Workers' (including executives), 'Contributors to Women Entrepreneurs Development,' and 'Outstanding Organizations Supporting Women Entrepreneurs' (institutions).
The awards consist of government honors such as the 'Order of Industrial Service Merit' (Gold and Silver Tower), 'Industrial Medal,' 'Presidential Citation,' and 'Prime Minister's Citation,' as well as institutional citations (Minister of SMEs and Startups, Minister of Strategy and Finance), totaling 81 awards.
Park Chang-sook, President of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, stated, "The growth of women entrepreneurs signifies a new growth engine for the Korean economy," and added, "We hope many women entrepreneurs will take pride and continue to challenge themselves."
