The police have launched an investigation after a post threatening to kill the judge who dismissed the arrest warrant review for President Yoon Seok-yeol appeared online.
On the 17th, the Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency received a report of a threatening post to kill Judge So Jun-seop of the Seoul Central District Court and is tracking the authenticity and the author of the post. The case has been assigned to the Geumcheon Police Station in Seoul.
A police official stated, "The IP address of the author and Judge So's residence are unrelated."
The previous day, a post stating "If So Jun-seop (judge) is caught on his way to or from work, he will be beheaded" was uploaded on the online community DC Inside's 'People Power Party Minor Gallery.'
