Strengthening Initial Response Capabilities and Safety Awareness for Fire Preparedness
Gyeonggi Yangju Urban Corporation (President Lee Heung-gyu) announced on the 16th that it conducted the '2025 First Half Self Fire Drill and Safety Education' at the Yangju City Culture and Arts Center on the 14th.

View original imageThis drill was carried out with the participation of about 40 people, including Yangju Urban Corporation employees and representatives of resident organizations, aiming to strengthen initial response capabilities in case of fire.
The training consisted mainly of theoretical education on the duties of the self-fire brigade and hands-on experience with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
The main educational contents included △ indirect experiential training through audiovisual materials and video viewing △ education on CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) usage △ practical exercises on overall fire safety and first aid methods.
In particular, this drill focused on enhancing practical disaster response capabilities by cooperating with the Yangju Fire Station to practice safety rules for fire preparedness in the performance hall and checking obstacles along evacuation routes.
