Dangjin City Launches Nighttime Tax Service Office... First in Chungnam
Open Every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. During the Local Tax Regular Payment Period
On the 16th, Dangjin City in Chungnam Province announced that it will operate a "Nighttime Tax Service Office" for the first time in the province starting this year, in order to alleviate the inconvenience of citizens who find it difficult to visit or make inquiries during business hours due to work or other commitments.
The "Nighttime Tax Service Office" will be open for three hours from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays during the local tax regular payment period, at counters 43 and 44 of the Tax Department on the first floor of Dangjin City Hall.
Administrative services such as local tax payments and various local tax-related inquiries and consultations will be provided via phone or in-person visits.
The Nighttime Tax Service Office has designated operating dates for each local tax category, such as property tax and automobile tax, so citizens can check the schedule, make a reservation in advance, or use the service on the day. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Tax Administration Team of the Tax Department.
Kim Insik, head of the Tax Department, said, "We are operating the Nighttime Tax Service Office for the first time in the province to enhance convenience for local taxpayers," and added, "We hope many citizens will take advantage of the nighttime tax service office for local tax administrative services and tax consultations."
