On the 14th, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced that Beopseongsa Temple of the Korean Buddhist Gwaneum Order donated 300 bags of white rice (10kg each) worth 9 million won in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
Beopmyeong Sunim said, "Although this winter has been harsh and difficult, I hope this year will be one of sharing warmth and caring for each other," adding, "I hope this rice sharing will be an opportunity to make the beginning of the Eulsa year prosperous."
