Support for Smart Safety Equipment Expanded to 20%
Kim Moon-soo, Minister of Employment and Labor, said on the 14th, "This year, we plan to conduct pilot operations (drone supervision and inspection) focusing on areas with dense construction sites and expand them nationwide in the future."
On the same day, Minister Kim visited the new construction site of the Bio Medical Comprehensive Support Center located in Asan-si, Chungnam, and said, "Through supervision and inspection using drones, many risk factors at construction sites can be improved."
Minister Kim also mentioned, "To expand the use of smart safety equipment at construction sites, starting next month, we will increase the usage limit of industrial safety and health management expenses for the purchase and rental of smart safety equipment from 10% to 20% of the total amount."
