Ulju-gun Doubles Support Fund for Senior Citizens' Filial Duty Use Voucher
From This Year, Quarterly Support Doubled from 15,000 KRW to 30,000 KRW
Ulsan's Ulju-gun will double the support fund for the Hyo-do Usage Voucher provided to local seniors aged 65 and over starting this year.
The Hyo-do Usage Voucher, supported by Ulju-gun since 2021, is a project that provides bathing and beauty/haircut services to help seniors maintain their health and revitalize the local economy.
The support fund is loaded onto an electronic voucher card and used by paying with the card after using services at registered affiliated stores such as bathhouses, barbershops, and beauty salons.
Starting this year, Ulju-gun will increase the existing quarterly support amount for the Hyo-do Usage Voucher from 15,000 KRW (5,000 KRW per month) to 30,000 KRW (10,000 KRW per month), doubling the support.
For cards already issued, the increased amount will be applied without any separate procedures, and for new issuance, applicants can visit the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center with their ID card to apply.
In case of proxy application, both the ID cards of the recipient and the proxy, as well as documents verifying family relations such as a family relation certificate, must be presented for issuance.
