Pusan National University Hosts 'Hyowon Humanities DAY' with Department Experiences and Special Lectures at College of Humanities

The College of Humanities at Pusan National University (Dean Kim Im-sook, Professor of Japanese Language and Literature) will hold the "2nd Hyowon Humanities DAY" on the 22nd from 1 PM to 5 PM at Seonghak Hall and the Humanities Building on campus, targeting elementary, middle, and high school students and their parents.
This event was first organized last year to widely promote the humanities in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions and to provide accurate career and admission information for each department in the College of Humanities to assist with career planning. In the inaugural event, over 120 students who participated in various humanities special lectures and department experiences showed a high satisfaction rating of 4.9 out of 5.
This year’s "2nd Hyowon Humanities DAY" will feature special humanities lectures by professors from 12 departments of the College of Humanities (Korean Language and Literature, Chinese Language and Literature, Japanese Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, French Language and Literature, German Language and Literature, Russian Language and Literature, Classical Chinese Literature, Language Informatics, History, Philosophy, and Archaeology) at Seonghak Hall, with topics such as "Saojeong (史旿正, Recording History Correctly)," "The Role of Language in Changing Times," and "The Journey of Artifacts."
From 3 PM to 5 PM, various major experience booths will be operated in the Humanities Building, where students can freely participate.
