On the 13th, Gyeryong City announced that it was chosen as an outstanding region in the "2024 Regional Safety Index" evaluation conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Regional Safety Index is evaluated in accordance with the Framework Act on Disaster and Safety Management to strengthen the safety management responsibility of local governments and to create a safer society through voluntary improvements in vulnerable areas.
