Man Arrested for Wielding Weapon at Rally Near Presidential Residence
On the 12th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul arrested a middle-aged man, Mr. A, on the spot for wielding a weapon at a protester near the presidential residence and is currently investigating him.
According to the police, around 12:25 PM that day, Mr. A allegedly engaged in a dispute with a protester holding a different stance on a street near the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, and is accused of swinging a box cutter in the air (special intimidation).
It has been confirmed that no one was injured.
