Police Launch Preliminary Investigation into 70 Malicious Posts Related to Jeju Air Disaster
The police have initiated a pre-indictment investigation into 70 malicious posts involving defamation and insults against the victims and bereaved families of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.

View original imageThe National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters stated, "We are conducting an investigation centered on the cyber investigation units of the provincial police agencies to swiftly track down and apprehend the posters," adding, "A total of 70 cases have been subjected to pre-indictment investigation."
Among the six cases under pre-indictment investigation by the Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency's cyber investigation unit, search and seizure warrants have been executed for three cases, while the remaining cases are in the stage before the issuance of search and seizure warrants.
