Ryukyung-gi, Jungnang-gu Mayor, Pays Respects at Joint Memorial for Air Crash Victims
On the 31st at 10 a.m., Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, visited the "Joint Memorial Altar for Aviation Accident Victims" set up in the lobby on the first floor of Jungnang-gu Office to pay his respects.
Mayor Ryu, along with department heads and other staff members, visited the altar, offered flowers, and observed a moment of silence to pray for the victims' souls.
The joint memorial altar will be open until January 4th of next year. The operating hours are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and anyone can pay their respects.
Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, "I express my deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims of the aviation accident, and offer my heartfelt comfort to the injured and the bereaved families. The joint memorial altar is being operated in accordance with the national mourning period, so I hope everyone will join in praying for the victims' souls."
