Yeungnam University Graduate School of Business Administration CEO Program Alumni Association Donates 10 Million KRW Development Fund to Alma Mater
Yeungnam University (President Choi Oechul) Graduate School of Business Advanced Management Program (AMP) Alumni Association (President Kwon Oseop) announced on the 31st that it has donated 10 million KRW in development funds to its alma mater.
On the 26th, the ‘Yeungnam University AMP Alumni Association 2024 General Meeting and Year-end Night’ event was held at the Daegu Grand Hotel. At this event, the AMP Alumni Association (President Kwon Oseop) delivered 10 million KRW in development funds to the university.

View original imageThe Yeungnam University AMP Alumni Association has a special affection for their alma mater. They have continuously donated development funds for the university’s advancement. Starting in 2018 with a donation of LED lighting worth 100 million KRW to the Yeungnam University College of Business Administration building, the AMP Alumni Association supported classroom renovations at the Graduate School of Business and donated 85 million KRW in 2019 for the Graduate School of Business development fund and scholarship fund. Additionally, they contributed another 10 million KRW each in 2021 and January of this year, bringing the total amount donated to 291 million KRW to date.
President Kwon Oseop of the AMP Alumni Association said, “Based on the deep affection and pride AMP alumni have for their alma mater, we hope this development fund donation will contribute to the university’s growth. We will continue to work with alumni to support the growth of our alma mater and the development of the local community.”
At the event, Yeungnam University President Choi Oechul expressed, “We deeply appreciate the continuous support and contributions of the AMP Alumni Association. Thanks to the active roles of AMP alumni in various sectors of society, Yeungnam University’s reputation is rising every year. It is due to the unwavering affection and support of our alumni that Yeungnam University is moving toward a better future. We will continue our relentless efforts for innovation to nurture talent that contributes to global prosperity.”
Meanwhile, prior to the general meeting, President Choi Oechul gave a special lecture titled ‘The Status and Development Direction of Yeungnam University on its 77th Anniversary.’ In the lecture, President Choi shared with the alumni the university’s achievements over the past 77 years, future development strategies, and visions to strengthen university competitiveness, while also proposing ways to utilize the university’s global network.
