Additionally, for the winter season, a four-season facility was established on an 80m section of the 220m-long clay footpath at Gam-il Cultural Park, and the entire 160m length of the clay footpath at Wirye Sunra Park was equipped with a four-season facility.
The four-season facility includes a canopy that blocks snow and rain, electric heaters to raise the internal temperature, and hot water heaters installed at the foot washing stations to warm frozen feet. This allows citizens to engage in barefoot walking exercises even during the winter when outdoor activities are usually limited.
With this, following the clay footpaths at Pungsan Neighborhood Park No. 3 and Misa Forest Park, Hanam City has secured additional clay footpaths equipped with four-season facilities, making a total of four clay footpaths available for use during winter.
A Hanam City official stated, “Following the existing six clay footpaths, the addition of clay footpaths in Gam-il and Wirye will help more citizens relieve stress and improve health through exercise.”
