Paju-si to Conduct '2025 New Year Practical Agricultural Training' from January 6 to 23
Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 31st that the Paju Agricultural Technology Center will conduct the "New Year Practical Education for Farmers" from January 6 to 23.
The New Year Practical Education for Farmers is designed to help farmers successfully establish their New Year farming plans and support the enhancement of their management capabilities through education on agricultural policies changing in 2025 and newly developed technologies.
The education will be conducted 14 times for 1,400 participants, focusing on core subjects aligned with the farming season. The curriculum consists of 12 subjects in three areas: agricultural management, rural resources, and farming technology, tailored to regional specialty crops and educational demand, including rice, soybeans, ginseng, chili peppers, and smart agriculture.
This education will take place at the Paju Agricultural Technology Center and the Paju Youth Training Center. Anyone residing in Paju, including agricultural workers, returnees to farming, and prospective farmers, can participate in the education of their interest through on-site registration without prior application.
A representative from the Paju Agricultural Technology Center encouraged active participation, saying, "We hope that through the New Year Practical Education for Farmers, farmers will successfully establish their farming plans and gain information on new agricultural policies and technologies."
