Sancheong County in Gyeongnam announced on the 31st that Jeong Young-cheol will assume office as the 34th Deputy Governor of Sancheong on January 1 next year.
Deputy Governor Jeong will begin his duties without a separate inauguration ceremony, starting with a visit to the Chung Hon Tower and reporting his appointment on the 31st, followed by the 2025 New Year's Sunrise event schedule.
Jeong Young-cheol, who was appointed as a Grade 7 public official in July 1994, has served as the Gyeongnam Provincial Communication Planning Officer, Director of Culture and Arts, Deputy Governor of Hadong, and Director of Administration. He graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Pusan National University.
