‘Jeju Air Passenger Plane Accident Victims Joint Memorial Altars’ Installed at Two Locations near Hapjeong Station and Gongdeok Station
Mapo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Gang-su) has decided to cancel the '2025 Red Road Countdown Event' scheduled for December 31, 2024, and the '2025 Mapo-gu Sunrise Viewing Event' planned for January 1, 2025.
The district made this decision to express condolences and mourning for the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster that occurred on December 29 at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, stated, "We extend our deepest condolences to the victims who lost their precious lives in this accident and offer sincere comfort to the bereaved families who are plunged into great sorrow by this sudden tragedy."
