Jeongeup City Named 'Best' in Land and Cadastral Management by Jeonbuk Province
Jeongeup City has been selected as the top institution in the '2024 Comprehensive Evaluation of Land and Cadastral Management' hosted by North Jeolla Province.
According to the city on the 30th, this evaluation was conducted among 14 cities and counties in the province, focusing on four main areas: cadastral information, land management, cadastral resurvey, and spatial information.
The city received high marks for its substantial business execution and innovative business development.

View original imageIn particular, Jeongeup City scored highly for significantly improving efficiency and reliability through accurate cadastral information management and advanced cadastral administration, revitalizing the cadastral resurvey project, establishing order in real estate transactions, appropriately announcing individual official land prices, and enhancing the address information system and expanding spatial information operations.
The city is setting an example for the local community by donating a portion of the award money received from this selection to the Jeongeup Scholarship Foundation as scholarships, thereby laying the groundwork for nurturing local talent.
Mayor Lee Haksoo said, "We will continue to improve cadastral services, which are directly related to citizens' property rights, and do our best to provide high-quality cadastral civil services next year as well."
