Dong-A University Seokdang Museum (Director Kim Ki-su) successfully concluded the 4th Dong-A Muse (MUSE) project, a training program for prospective curators.
In particular, as a result of this program, the mission activity sheet for Seokdang Museum, titled "The Secret of the Red Brick - Find the Code -," created directly by the students, was unveiled.

Most quizzes require a close look at the collections, providing both fun and meaningful experiences. By combining the codes obtained from each exhibition room, participants find the final secret code, receive guidance to a secret location engraved with the code, and complete the mission by taking a verification photo.
The six characters (Geumchongi, Yongyongi, Banyako, Sapsari, Hagi, and Daeguni) were created based on representative collections of Seokdang Museum. Among them, "Daeguni" is a modern time traveler wearing a hat and necktie made from the red bricks of the Busan Temporary Capital Government Building, and green pants resembling the Busan tram, capturing visitors' attention.
Moreover, Dong-A Muse demonstrated marketing capabilities by producing a card news titled "Quiz Event with Banyako" on the museum's SNS channels, attracting over 300 participants.
This activity, conducted as part of the Ministry of Education's University Innovation Support Project, was designed to enhance fair cultural enjoyment and contribute to the local community through students' self-directed production of cultural convergence content.
Seokdang Museum selected the 4th Dong-A Muse from enrolled students aspiring to enter the fields of cultural content or museums. Teams of two to three members participated in hands-on museum work, expert lectures, content collection field trips, and disability awareness education starting from September.
During the hands-on museum experience, students practiced handling collections in the museum storage, which is usually difficult to access. Lectures on digital heritage planning and application enhanced understanding of cultural technology, and a special lecture on writing collection interpretations for all audiences addressed questions about communicating with disabled groups in museums. Additionally, participation in the 2024 Museum and Art Gallery Expo held at BEXCO in October increased interest in museum culture and provided opportunities to explore industry revitalization sites.
