Former National Assembly Speaker Kim Su-han Passes Away at Age 96
Former National Assembly Speaker Kim Su-han passed away on the morning of the 30th at the age of 96.
Former Speaker Kim served as a six-term National Assembly member, starting from the 7th National Assembly through the 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, and 15th sessions. He served as the Speaker of the National Assembly during the first half of the 15th National Assembly from 1996 to 1998.
He also held positions such as President of the Korea-Japan Friendship Association Central Committee and Chairman of the Kim Young-sam Democracy Center, and was active as the Chairman of the Standing Advisory Group of the People Power Party.

The funeral hall is set up at the Seoul Sinchon Severance Hospital Funeral Hall, with the funeral service scheduled for January 3rd of next year. The burial site will be the Daejeon National Cemetery.
