Irina Lee Appointed as New President of JTI Korea... "Will Expand Presence in Korean Market"
Tobacco company JTI Korea announced on the 30th that it has appointed Irina Lee as the new president.
President Lee, originally from Kazakhstan, began her career in 1999 in the global supply chain department in Kazakhstan and has gained experience through various roles in JTI's multiple markets, regions, and headquarters. She has developed and executed consumer-centric marketing strategies targeting diverse markets as well as global brand strategies. Since last year, she has served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, supporting certain markets in the Eastern European region and the duty-free business division.
With the appointment of Irina Lee, JTI Korea plans to strengthen its portfolio by introducing various new cigarette and electronic cigarette products reflecting the evolving demands of adult smokers. Furthermore, the company aims to fulfill its responsibilities to consumers, stakeholders, employees, and society, establishing JTI's unique presence in the Korean market.
