Dr. Jeong Byeong-yeop of Nuclear Research Institute Elected President of the Korean Radiation Industry Association
The Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute announced on the 30th that Dr. Jeong Byeong-yeop (photo) has been elected as the 10th President of the Korean Radiation Industry Association and will serve as president for two years starting January next year.
The Korean Radiation Industry Association, established in 2006, is the only professional academic organization in Korea dedicated to radiation research and development and practical application.
President Jeong is an expert in the field of radiation biotechnology and currently serves as the director of the Advanced Radiation Research Institute at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute.
