In addition, the company conducted volunteer education on how to use home appliances for 55 people with developmental, physical, and brain lesions disabilities who use these welfare centers for about two months starting last month.
The LG Comfort Kit is an assistive accessory developed in-house to enable all customers, regardless of gender, age, or disability, to conveniently use home appliances. The Easy-to-Read booklets are designed for slow learners or children with developmental disabilities to learn how to use home appliances.
LG Electronics will also expand the scope of the 'Home Appliance School One-Day Class.' This class supports learning the electrical and mechanical principles of home appliances naturally through play and promotes safe usage. Until now, this class has only been conducted in special classes for elementary, middle, and high schools and LG Electronics Best Shops. However, in the first half of next year, the Easy-to-Read books, which have been distributed free of charge, will be officially published as books and e-books, allowing schools, kindergartens, libraries, and others to purchase them individually and conduct their own education.
