Yang Bunam: Secured 2.1 Billion Won in Special Grant from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety

Yang Bunam, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea (representing Gwangju Seogu-eul), announced on the 27th that he has secured 2.1 billion KRW in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for projects such as the construction of a floor fountain at Yeomju Children's Park and the maintenance of the sewage culvert in the Sangmu Market area.
The special grants secured by Representative Yang include: 700 million KRW for the construction of a floor fountain at Yeomju Children's Park; 500 million KRW for maintenance of the sewage culvert in the Sangmu Market area; 400 million KRW for anti-slip pavement in child protection zones at Manho Elementary School, Sangmu Elementary School, and Unri Elementary School; 200 million KRW for the installation of security CCTVs and emergency bells in Seochang-dong and Geumho-dong; 200 million KRW for installing landscape lighting on the walking trail at Geumdangsan; and 100 million KRW for seismic reinforcement at the Sangmu 2-dong Administrative Welfare Center.
Representative Yang stated, "The budget reflects not only the creation of an environment where children can commute to school safely and comfortably, but also proactive measures to prepare for potential emergencies that could occur at any time and place. I expect that these projects will not only improve residents' convenience but also contribute to ensuring their safety."
