BPA Conducts Unannounced Safety Inspections at Busan Port Winter Construction Sites
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) will conduct unannounced safety inspections starting from the 27th at the construction sites of Busan New Port, Gamcheon Port, and Bukhang Port in preparation for the winter season.
The key inspection items include △anti-slip measures and securing supplies such as snow removal equipment and calcium chloride △checking fire hazard factors such as temporary wooden stoves on site △compliance with construction safety rules (temporary scaffolding, fall prevention nets, etc.) △organization, securing, and binding status of various construction materials △other safety hazard factors.
Any issues requiring immediate action identified during the safety inspection will be corrected on site, and if serious risk factors are found, construction will be halted and safety inspections will be promptly conducted. In cases of repeated violations, strong measures will be taken by the relevant departments.
