Gwangju Chamber of Commerce Concludes '2024 Economic Forum' Breakfast Lecture
Held for the 10th Time This Year... Over 1,000 Participants from Companies and Organizations

This year's first lecture was held in February under the theme "The Era of Low Growth: Corporate Response Strategies." The forum concluded on the 24th with the topic "The Impact of the US Presidential Election Results on Major Industries and Response Directions."
The Gwangju Economic Forum has been a regular economic event operated under the support of Gwangju City for 27 years since its establishment in 1997. It provides lectures and business networking opportunities to help companies develop response measures and establish management strategies amid rapidly changing business conditions.
This year, Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry held 10 breakfast lectures, providing more than 1,000 local companies and related organizations with a variety of information on the latest management issues and trends.
Last month, a special event was held where all participants received a free copy of the bestseller "Chip War: The Fight for the World's Most Critical Technology" by Chris Miller.
In June, an easy and engaging lecture on "Food Tech," which drew attention at CES 2024 due to global climate crises and food issues, was held. In September, a lecture on "Analysis of Real Estate Issues and Market Outlook," a major local topic of interest, received great response from participants.
A Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry official stated, "Next year's forum will feature even more diverse topics and the best experts in each field, and we plan to support the participation of many economic leaders from the local community. As the region's leading economic organization, we will continue to develop the Economic Forum to take the lead in revitalizing the local economy."
