Chungnam to Expand Next Year's Small Business Policy Fund to 1.2 Trillion Won
Chungnam Province will expand its policy funds for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners from the current 885 billion won to 1.2 trillion won next year.
The province announced this at a local government meeting held on the 27th in the provincial government conference room, attended by the mayors and county governors of all 15 cities and counties in Chungnam.
Additionally, the creation of a 1 trillion won venture investment fund will be moved up from 2031 to 2028.
Furthermore, the province and its cities and counties will expedite projects that require long-term review, and will concentrate administrative efforts to ensure that proposals for legislative amendments and central government affairs are accepted.
In addition, the province plans to brand and utilize local architectural assets to promote regional regeneration, job creation, and the development of a pleasant residential environment.
At the local government meeting, an architectural vision was presented under the theme "Drawing Chungnam, Building 100 Years of Future Architecture."
The architectural vision includes plans to improve urban landscapes and residential environments with a view toward the next 100 years.
Governor Kim Tae-heum stated, "Despite the current political turmoil, we have steadfastly fulfilled our responsibilities as a local government, securing government budgets and attracting domestic and international investments totaling 32 trillion won," and added, "Next year, we will place greater emphasis on achieving our five major goals: agricultural and rural structural reform, leading a carbon-neutral economy, establishing the Bay Valley, addressing low birth rates, and promoting balanced regional development. As always, Chungnam will move forward without hesitation."
