Uijeongbu-si Selects 7 Outstanding Businesses for Public Hygiene Services
Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 27th that it has completed the '2024 Public Sanitation Service Level Evaluation' and has finally selected 7 'The Best' sanitation establishments.
This evaluation was conducted from September to December on a total of 310 establishments, including lodging businesses (137 establishments), bathhouses (30 establishments), and laundries (143 establishments).
The evaluation team, composed of responsible public officials and honorary public sanitation inspectors, inspected the sites according to the Ministry of Health and Welfare's sanitation service level evaluation guidelines, assessed scores by category, and reviewed business histories.
As a result, among the 169 establishments rated as top-tier with scores of 90 or above (green grade), 7 establishments with the highest scores were selected as 'The Best' sanitation establishments.
The selected 'The Best' sanitation establishments received mayoral commendations along with excellent establishment logo signboards and sanitation supply sets. Additionally, corrective actions were taken for establishments requiring some improvements. The evaluation results were published on the Uijeongbu City website.

We will continue to do our best to ensure fair and transparent evaluations."
