Ulsan City Donates Funds for Neighbor Assistance in Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign
Collected Employee Salary Change Donations Totaling 10.48 Million KRW This Year
Donated 191.34 Million KRW Over 22 Years Since 2003
On the 27th at 10:55 a.m., Ulsan City will deliver 10,487,190 KRW in neighbor-helping donations raised by employees throughout the year to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea in the mayor's office.
The donation ceremony will be attended by Mayor Kim Du-gyeom, Kim Tae-cheol, chairman of the Public Officials Labor Union, and other city hall officials, as well as the chairman of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea.
This donation was collected by Ulsan City Hall employees who saved less than 1,000 KRW from their monthly salaries.
The small change donation, which began in 2003, has continued for 22 years this year, with cumulative donations reaching approximately 191.34 million KRW to date.
Through these donations, Ulsan City supported low-income families, elderly living alone, and single-parent families from 2003 to 2018, and since 2019, has been supporting vulnerable groups through the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea.

An official from Ulsan City stated, “The voluntary participation and small sharing of city hall employees are leading to great hope,” adding, “We will continue to promote various warm-sharing activities for the local community.”
