Korea Racing Authority Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam (Head 엄영석) announced on the 27th that it held the 2024 Busan-Gyeongnam Annual Awards Ceremony on the 22nd.
The Annual Awards, held to highlight the sportsmanship of horse racing, are organized every year to select the racehorse with the best performance of the year, as well as outstanding trainers and jockeys, in order to boost the pride of those involved in horse racing.

Looking at the award status by category, trainer Kim Young-gwan, who recorded 60 wins and is currently the top winner, was named the Best Trainer. The Best Jockey award went to jockey Seo Seung-woon, who won four major races including the Busan Mayor's Cup. Jockey Seo has had the honor of being named Best Jockey for three consecutive years since 2022. In addition, the Best Management Team award went to Team 1 led by trainer Baek Kwang-yeol, and the Fair Play Jockey award was given to jockey Lee Sung-jae.
