Seosan Sungkyul Church Donates 20 Million Won to Seosan City
Seosan City in South Chungcheong Province announced that Seosan Sungkyul Church donated 20 million won on the 25th to help neighbors in need.
The city held a donation ceremony at the Seosan Sungkyul Church sanctuary on this day, attended by Mayor Lee Wanseop, Senior Pastor Kim Hyungbae, and other church officials.
The donated funds will be used to support vulnerable groups in the Seosan area through the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea.
Senior Pastor Kim Hyungbae said, "I hope that our marginalized neighbors in the community can spend the cold winter a little more warmly," and added, "We will continue our efforts to look after those who are struggling."
Mayor Lee Wanseop expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for your kindness toward neighbors in need. We will ensure that the donated funds are delivered to those who truly need help."
Meanwhile, Seosan Sungkyul Church has been continuously providing donations and supplies to support neighbors facing difficulties.
