Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 26th that it opened the Paju Labor Rights Center on the 24th to protect the rights of workers in the area and improve labor conditions.

View original imagePaju City launched the Labor Rights Center by integrating the existing Labor Welfare Center and the Non-regular Workers Support Center. The Paju Labor Rights Center is located in front of Geumneung Station, a high foot traffic area, and covers an area of 333.26㎡ (102 pyeong), consisting of an administrative office, labor consultation room, psychological counseling room, Program Room 1, Program Room 2, and a rest area (lounge).
At the Paju Labor Rights Center, six staff members including the center director, one certified labor attorney, and one psychological counselor will provide services such as free labor legal consultations, psychological counseling, worker education programs, and industrial safety and health education.
The opening ceremony was attended by Paju Mayor Kim Kyung-il, National Assembly member Park Jung, Paju City Council Chairman Park Dae-sung, Paju City Council members, Oh Yoo-jin, Chairperson of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Gyeonggi Northwest Regional Branch, and labor-related organizations.
