KakaoPay Securities, Home Screen Renovation "From Stocks to Securities"
Home Screen Focused on Owned Assets and a Comprehensive View of Pensions and Funds
Kakao Pay Securities announced on the 26th that it will introduce new features along with the revamp of the securities home screen.
In this revamp, the bottom menu name of the Kakao Pay app has been changed from ‘Stocks’ to ‘Securities,’ and the service has enhanced user convenience by adding the US stock 10-level order book price provision and order placement via order book touch functionality.
Kakao Pay Securities changed the name to ‘Securities’ to provide various investment service entry points beyond just stocks. The core of this revamp is the securities home screen centered on ‘Holdings.’ It has been improved so that users can check at a glance their holdings area, which they check most frequently, including ▲Stocks ▲Pension ▲Funds ▲Mini Safe balances. Additionally, the function to guide customized information for users who have no asset holding history or are using the service for the first time has been strengthened. By segmenting the user experience according to account and asset holding status, it is expected that all users will be able to use services perfectly suited to themselves.
Moreover, Kakao Pay Securities newly added the ‘10-level order book’ price provision feature to enhance the information competitiveness of US stock trading.
Previously, the 10-level buy and sell order prices could only be checked in the day market order book information window. However, through this revamp, the 10-level order book prices are now provided in real time for the pre-market, regular market, and after-market as well.
Kakao Pay Securities expects this to help users make rational trading decisions by comprehensively judging trading volume and price trends.
Furthermore, an order placement via order book touch feature was introduced for users who prefer ultra-short-term trading. This feature allows users to complete a trade immediately by touching the button next to the desired price while watching the real-time moving order book prices, providing a simple order method.
The order book touch order reduces the cumbersome input process and offers usability optimized for short-term trading. It enables quick responses when trading highly volatile stocks, making it especially useful for users who trade by the second. Additionally, users can freely switch between the order book and order screens on the bottom tab, and the position of ‘My Average Purchase Price’ is displayed to intuitively understand profit and loss, enhancing convenience.
