Gyeonggi Shinbo Rolls Up Sleeves to Overcome Livelihood Crisis... Agreement with Gyeonggi-do Small Business Owners and Merchants Federation
The Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation has joined hands with the Gyeonggi-do Small Business Association and the Gyeonggi-do Merchants Association to revitalize domestic demand and support small business owners in the province.
On the 24th, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation announced that it held a signing ceremony for the "Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation-Gyeonggi-do Small Business Association-Gyeonggi-do Merchants Association Business Agreement to Overcome Domestic Demand Slump and Livelihood Crisis with One Heart and One Mind" at the 2nd-floor conference room of Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation in Gwanggyo, Suwon.
According to the agreement, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will actively promote revitalization of neighborhood commercial districts by designating days for team dinners and dining out at each headquarters branch to stimulate consumption. It will support year-end dinner expenses of 20,000 KRW per employee and operate every Tuesday and Thursday as days for dining out to promote coexistence with local commercial districts until the end of next year. Additionally, it plans to continuously provide various products and innovative services needed on-site to help small business owners in the province overcome crises.
Furthermore, in cooperation with Gyeonggi-do and the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly, it plans to significantly expand the support scale for management stabilization guarantee products such as the "Special Guarantee for Extension of Repayment of Medium and Low Credit Debt" and the "Gyeonggi Small Business Owners HimnaeGO Card Guarantee."

View original imageThe Gyeonggi-do Small Business Association and Merchants Association have agreed to actively promote preferential benefits when public institutions in Gyeonggi-do, including Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, hold group dinners using member companies. Along with this, each institution will strengthen information sharing and exchange activities for cooperative project promotion and continuously enhance the competitiveness of small business owners and neighborhood commercial districts in the province.
Earlier, on the 12th and 16th, Gyeonggi-do held an emergency economic inspection meeting and an urgent executive meeting chaired by Governor Kim Dong-yeon to proactively support small business owners struggling amid the domestic demand slump and increasing internal and external uncertainties and volatility, presenting three principles: field-centered, rapid response, and immediate bold measures.
Si Seok-jung, Chairman of Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, explained, "This agreement was promoted as an extension of Gyeonggi-do's measures to establish a cooperative system where the private and public sectors collaborate to stimulate consumption and prepare practical support measures."

Meanwhile, the signing ceremony was attended by Chairman Si Seok-jung, Kim Jong-woo, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation Labor Union, Lee Sang-baek, President of the Gyeonggi-do Small Business Association, and Lee Chung-hwan, President of the Gyeonggi-do Merchants Association, among others.
