Goyang-si Extends Use of Youth Culture and Arts Pass Until February Next Year
150,000 KRW Support for Those Born in 2005

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 24th that the 'Youth Culture and Arts Pass,' which provides 150,000 KRW per person to 19-year-old youth (born in 2005), can be used until February 2025.

View original imageThe Youth Culture and Arts Pass, launched for the first time this year, is a project aimed at expanding cultural enjoyment opportunities for 19-year-old youth and revitalizing the culture and arts market. It provides support funds to watch performances and exhibitions in various fields such as △theater △classical music △opera △ballet △Korean traditional music (gugak). Additionally, it also supports △popular music fields such as concerts.
Applications for the Youth Culture and Arts Pass are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted, and usage is available until February 28, 2025, based on the date of attendance.
Regardless of income, any 19-year-old youth (born in 2005) can apply through the websites or mobile apps of partner ticketing agencies (Interpark, yes24).
This year, a total of 3,468 people in Goyang City can receive support funds of 150,000 KRW through the Youth Culture and Arts Pass.
