Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 23rd that it will expand and reorganize the Eastern Health Center by June next year to open the Eastern Health Office with an independent system and functions.
As a result, it is expected to enhance accessibility to public health medical services for residents in the eastern region (Hwado, Sudong, Hopyeong, Pyeongnae) and provide customized health management services tailored to the local community.
The Eastern Health Office will be organized into 2 divisions and 9 teams, carrying out various tasks such as △ Dementia Safety Center △ Health Promotion Room △ Oral Health △ Infectious Disease Management.
In particular, emphasis was placed on establishing a system capable of efficiently implementing major health policies such as dementia prevention and infectious disease control.
The city plans to carry out remodeling construction from January to June next year to prepare the necessary facilities and equipment for the operation of the health office.
Although some service usage may be limited starting from March next year when the construction intensifies, thorough measures are being prepared to ensure that citizens can use essential health care services without inconvenience.
