In August, the Provincial Office of Education dispatched one general public official to the Singapore AI Edutech institution (AICET: AI Centre for Educational Technologies) for the purpose of "cooperation on digital education policies utilizing artificial intelligence." This international exchange was promoted as a continuation of mutual cooperation following the overseas education and training dispatch.
During this exchange, the visiting delegation agreed to extend the training period of the dispatched public official from six months to one year. They also visited advanced AI technology research institutions such as the National University of Singapore, Polytechnic University of Technology, AI Singapore research institute, and the National Museum, and explored collaboration plans with Singaporean educational technology institutions for future teacher training on AI digital textbooks promoted by the Provincial Office of Education.
The Provincial Office of Education expects that this visit exchange, linked with the general public official currently dispatched to the Singapore AI education institution, will serve as an opportunity for mutual cooperation and development by expanding connections with Singaporean educational institutions, a leading country in AI technology.
