Icheon-si Recruiting 'Youth Startup-Type and General Successor Farmers'
Applications Accepted Until February 5 Next Year
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is recruiting 'Youth Entrepreneurial Successor Farmers (Youth Successors)' and 'Successor Farmers (General Successors)' until February 5th next year.
The 'Youth Successors' recruited through next year's support project for young farmers' agricultural settlement are selected from those aged 18 to under 40 with less than 3 years of farming experience. Selected successors will receive a monthly living expense voucher of 900,000 to 1,100,000 KRW for up to 3 years to ensure stable initial settlement, and a successor farmer development fund loan of up to 500 million KRW.
'General Successors' are eligible if they are aged 18 to under 50 with less than 10 years of farming experience. They can receive a loan of up to 500 million KRW per household at an annual interest rate of 1.5%, with a 5-year grace period and 20-year repayment term.

Selected candidates can receive various agricultural education and consulting support, and the loan funds can be used for purchasing farmland, installing agricultural facilities, and buying farming machinery.
