On the 23rd, Jin Byeong-yeong, the governor of Hamyang County, Gyeongnam, visited Jirisan Hamyang Market to encourage merchants and directly listen to their voices regarding the difficulties of the local economy.
This visit was arranged to explore ways to revitalize traditional markets, which are struggling due to the recent unstable domestic situation, economic downturn, and worsening livelihood economy. Governor Jin was accompanied by No Chun-seok, head of the Hamyang County branch of NongHyup Bank, and other county officials.

Based on this, he plans to strengthen livelihood economy stabilization policies and support measures for traditional markets.
Additionally, Hamyang County plans to implement various policies to promote consumption during the year-end and New Year period.
These include consumption promotion activities across all county office departments, hosting the Hamyang Handeul commercial district event “2024 Donghaeng Festival,” expanding the issuance of Hamyang Love Gift Certificates to revitalize the local economy, and early implementation of small business and SME development funds to stabilize small business owners, among other diverse policies to stimulate consumption during the year-end and New Year season.
