30 Years of China Flights... Korean Air Holds Commemorative Event Locally
Round-trip Business Class Airfare Presented to Passengers
Korean Air celebrated the 30th anniversary of its service to China by holding commemorative events at four local airports and giving away round-trip tickets to customers.
On the 23rd, Korean Air announced that it held the 30th anniversary event for its China routes the previous day at Beijing Capital International Airport and Shenyang Taoxian International Airport.
On that day, Korean Air presented the 30th check-in passenger on flight KE2202 from Beijing to Gimpo and flight KE832 from Shenyang to Incheon with one round-trip business class ticket to Korea each. Additionally, all passengers received eco bags featuring the 30th anniversary logo as gifts.
On the 24th, commemorative events are scheduled to be held at Tianjin Binhai International Airport and Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport for passengers on flights KE806 from Tianjin to Incheon and KE846 from Qingdao to Incheon, respectively.
Park Yohan, Head of Korean Air’s China Regional Headquarters, said, "Going forward, Korean Air will continue to strengthen its role as a bridge between the two countries and actively pursue route expansions to various cities within China."

Previously, Korean Air opened its skies to China by launching the Seoul-Beijing route on December 22, 1994, followed by routes to Tianjin and Qingdao on the 24th, and Shenyang on the 27th of the same month. As of this month, it operates 27 routes to 21 cities in China.
