Research Alum analyzed on the 23rd that investment ideas can be obtained next year through the inauguration of President Donald Trump and the popularization of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Choi Seonghwan, a researcher at Research Alom, explained, "Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States, maintained a strong stance on supporting the reconstruction of Ukraine during the election period," adding, "Reconstruction projects will be in full swing after the ceasefire in Ukraine." He anticipated the participation of domestic construction and engineering companies.
He predicted, "Another key issue of the Trump administration is interest rate cuts and expansion of infrastructure investment," stating, "There is a high possibility of planning large-scale infrastructure investments through government bond issuance to stimulate the U.S. economy."
He continued, "Next year will be a period when the popularization and commercialization of AI technology are actively realized," analyzing, "Commercialization of software applying AI will create value in various industries." Furthermore, he emphasized, "Medical AI will have a significant impact on improving efficiency by establishing precision diagnosis and personalized treatment systems," and "AI-based search engines and recommendation systems are already maximizing the efficiency of advertising and content distribution."
Researcher Choi explained, "As the spread of AI technology expands, demand for infrastructure such as data centers is increasing, making power consumption and cooling technology new investment opportunities," adding, "Cooling technology combined with AI semiconductors will also play a role in enhancing energy efficiency."
He introduced, "With the emergence of new technologies such as quantum computing, it will be a year that surpasses the limitations of existing technologies," and said, "Quantum computing is an essential technology for processing vast amounts of data and solving complex problems." He also expressed expectations, "The development of metaverse and augmented reality (AR) technologies is also changing the paradigm of consumption and production," and "the scope of utilization is expanding in various industries such as education, entertainment, and retail."
