Gyeonggi-do Residents' Rights Committee Selected as 'Outstanding Agency for Audit Report Handling' by Board of Audit and Inspection
Gyeonggi Province has been selected as an excellent institution for handling audit reports.
The Gyeonggi Province Residents' Rights Commission announced on the 23rd that it was selected as an "Excellent Institution for Handling Audit Reports in the Civil Petition Investigation Field" this year, following last year, in recognition of its diligent investigation work on audit reports transferred from the Board of Audit and Inspection.
The Board of Audit and Inspection annually selects and awards institutions and public officials who have faithfully handled reports related to the detection of public officials' corrupt acts, improvement of unreasonable systems, and other matters, targeting central government agencies, local governments, and public institutions to promote public interest reporting.
The Gyeonggi Province Residents' Rights Commission was highly evaluated in this assessment for diligently handling audit reports transferred from the Board of Audit and Inspection over the past year, including improper site selection during project implementation and illegal shifting of compensation for damages.
