View original imageGwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 19th that the SIRIUS team from the Department of Computer Engineering won the grand prize at the 2024 Club Competition hosted by the LINC3.0 Project Group with their project, "Smart Home Platform Application Utilizing AI."
This competition featured 25 teams, including 15 industry-academic cooperation clubs and 10 startup clubs, with a total of 12 teams receiving awards based on evaluations by external judges.
Park Jinhyung, the representative of the SIRIUS team who won the grand prize, said, "I am delighted to see the fruits of our efforts with my teammates, and I feel proud that our idea has been recognized. I hope to continue achieving meaningful results in the field of artificial intelligence."
Noh Seonsik, head of the LINC3.0 Project Group, said, "I was able to witness the passion and spirit of challenge among the students. I was especially impressed by their growth through creative projects linked to their majors. We will continue to actively support students in developing both their academic and practical skills."
