Yangju Fire Station to Implement Special Christmas and Year-End Holiday Vigilance Duty
Gyeonggi Yangju Fire Station (Chief Kang Deok-won) announced on the 19th that it will implement special alert duty to ensure that citizens can spend a safe and warm year-end and New Year holiday.
This special alert duty will be carried out twice, from December 24 to 26 and from December 31 to January 2 of next year.
During this period, the fire station plans to maintain a readiness posture to respond immediately in case of disaster accidents or similar emergencies and will focus all efforts on preventing disaster accidents 24 hours a day.
The main initiatives include △ on-site safety inspections and pre-removal of risk factors △ establishing on-site response posture for large-scale disasters △ strengthening initial response systems through on-site response and situation management led by the station chief.
