The donation ceremony took place on the 19th at the district office, attended by Eom Euishik, Acting Mayor of Guro-gu, and Kang Boksung, Head of the Seoul Village Bus Transportation Business Association Guro Branch.
On this day, the donated items consisted of 60 bags of 10kg rice. Despite the challenging business environment, the Guro-gu Village Bus Branch moved to help underprivileged neighbors at the year-end, delivering a touching gesture.
The district plans to distribute the received rice to vulnerable neighbors such as elderly living alone through local community centers.
Furthermore, the Guro-gu Village Bus Branch stated that they will regularly donate goods at the end of each year and actively seek sharing activities with the district office to support neighbors in need and the local community.
