SK Shielders Acquires AI-Based Security Innovation Company 'Secureyer'
First Investment After Joint Management by EQT Partners and SK Square
SK Shieldus announced on the 18th that it will acquire SecureAire, an integrated security control solution company based on an artificial intelligence (AI) platform.
SK Shieldus completed the acquisition process of SecureAire after receiving final approval from the Fair Trade Commission's corporate merger review earlier this month. SK Shieldus will acquire a 66.7% effective stake in SecureAire and incorporate SecureAire as a subsidiary.
This acquisition is the first large-scale investment since EQT Partners and SK Square began jointly managing SK Shieldus. The industry expects SK Shieldus's acquisition to become a new driving force for revitalization within the information security market.
