Gyeongnam Jeongbodae Holds Integrated Awards Ceremony for Major Student Competitions

A total of 29 Contest Winners Receive President's Award
Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Tae-sang) held the ‘Integrated Awards Ceremony for Current Students’ Contest’ on the 13th at the 4th floor book cafe of the Centum Campus.

View original imageThe awards ceremony was attended by about 100 people, including 29 winners of the university’s four major contests (Reading Reflection Contest with KIT Recommended Books, Extracurricular Program Idea Contest, Reading Reflection Contest with Startup Recommended Books, and Field Training Experience Essay Contest) and faculty members.
In the ‘Reading Reflection Contest with KIT Recommended 50 Books’ (67 participants in total), the awards went to △Grand Prize: Park So-yoon from the Department of Physical Therapy △Excellence Award: Bae Seon-sook from the Department of Digital Literary Creation △Merit Award: Kim Young-eun from the Department of Nursing and 2 others △Encouragement Award: Park Seong-bae from the Department of Mechanical Design Engineering and 4 others.
The ‘Extracurricular Program Idea Contest Made by My Own Hands’ was conducted with the purpose of fostering students’ self-directed learning abilities by designing extracurricular programs themselves. A total of 20 teams participated, and the awards were given to △Grand Prize: Ryu Hae-in and 1 other from the Department of Nursing △Excellence Award: Lee Young-hwa from the Department of Environmental Landscape Design △Merit Award: Choi Seo-yeon and 2 others from the Department of Nursing △Encouragement Award: Heo Soo-bin and 2 others from the Companion Animal Life Department.
The ‘Reading Reflection Contest with Startup Recommended Books’ was held to enhance students’ interest and capabilities in startups. The awards went to △Grand Prize: Park Jeong-won from the Department of Electronic Engineering △Excellence Award: Kim Hye-min from the Department of Nursing △Merit Award: Kim Jin-ah and 1 other from the Department of Clinical Pathology △Encouragement Award: Lee Se-hyun and 2 others from the Department of Electric Hydrogen Vehicles.
The ‘Field Training Experience Essay Contest’ was conducted to share field training experiences and achievements for employment purposes. The awards were given to △Grand Prize: Ryu Yeo-jeong from the K-Beauty Department △Excellence Award: Kim Yoo-kyung from the Department of Nursing △Merit Award: Kim Yoo-kyung from the K-Beauty Department △Encouragement Award: Ha Do-hyun and 1 other from the Department of Social Welfare.
