Director James Gunn's 'Superman' to Release in July Next Year

Distributor Warner Bros. Korea announced on the 17th that the movie "Superman" will be released in July next year.
The film is a major production directed and written by James Gunn, who has taken the helm of DC Studios. It presents a new story featuring one of DC Comics' iconic characters.
Director Gunn has already been recognized for his superhero film directing skills through the "Guardians of the Galaxy" series. He excels at highlighting characters' traits while drawing out universal emotions.
Superman will be played by David Corenswet, a rising star who delivered an impressive performance in director Jung Isaac's "Twisters." Director Gunn praised him, saying, "He will surprise everyone."

Lois Lane, Superman's lover and friend, will be portrayed by Rachel Brosnahan, known for her roles in Netflix's "House of Cards" and the film "The Spy." Superman's nemesis Lex Luthor will be played by Nicholas Hoult, who has delivered strong performances in the "X-Men" series, "Mad Max: Fury Road," and "The Menu."
